Julie is a partner in O'Halloran Deal Lawyers.
Julie was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1995, having obtained her combined Commerce/Law degree from the University of NSW, Sydney.
She commenced work in 1995 with Abbott Tout, a leading national law firm in Sydney, as a senior associate in the Insurance Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Julie acted primarily for major insurers and self insured clients in the areas of medical (dental) negligence, workers compensation and occupational health and safety. Whilst working Julie completed her Master of Laws Degree, during which she was awarded the University Prize for Insurance Law. In 2002 she travelled overseas for two years to work before returning to Wagga to establish O'Halloran Deal Lawyers.
At O'Halloran Deal Julie's primary role is in the management and operation of the firm. Her role incorporates financial management, human resources, marketing and business development. Julie is a member of the Law Society of NSW and is admitted to practice as a solicitor and barrister in NSW and the Federal Court of Australia.
